Welcome to the official thread for Houses!
Here you will learn everything you need to know about houses.
What are houses?Houses are maps that can only be accessed by providing a valid password to our House Manager NPC, Rosey.
Rosey can be found in our home map (@go home), or the Free Market (@go fm).
You can pick out a map with MapleStory websites such as MapleTip. You can also use GM Handtool.
You may ask a staff member to warp you to a map before purcashing.
NOTE: Passwords are NOT case sensitive. Please check to see if a
password is already taken before applying to buy a house.
PricingA house itself costs 200 Pigmy Eggs at first.
A player may bid higher to win that house. If your
house stays bid free for 24 hours, you win the house.
Each time a bid is placed, the 24 hours resets.
After purchasing your house, feel free to purchase
any of our optional services. After the first month,
your house rent will cost 25 Pigmy Eggs.
Monthly RentMonthly rent is collected on the first 7 days of each month.
You must contact a staff member in game to pay your monthly rent.
Failure to pay within the first 7 days of each month results
in you losing ownership of the house. Your house will go back
on the market on the 8th day of the month, if you fail to pay
monthly rent. Monthly rent costs 25 Pigmy Eggs per month.

Community Services.

- Linking Portals (Neighbours)
You may link two of your own houses, or you may link to a friends house. You must have permission from the other house owner to link to their house.
Linking portals costs 25 Pigmy Eggs per portal being linked.
Note: If your house comes without portals, you may not link to any house.
Must supply your map ID, ID of neighbors map, and proof of their approval.
Welcome Message
You have the option of writing a custom welcome message to welcome anyone when they enter your house. Your custom message can say anything, but has a limit of 50 characters.
A custom Welcome message costs 5 Pigmy Eggs.
Must supply map ID and welcome message saying.
Map Edits
Map Edits are ONLY permitted in houses (with permission from owner) that have them enabled. If you would like to enable Map Edits in your house, you must provide the IGN(s) of the player(s) who have permission to legally use Map Edits in your map. Each IGN granted permission to use Map Edits costs 50 Pigmy Eggs.
NOTE: If you are found using Map Edits in a house without written permission you will be banned.
You must supply map ID and IGNs allowed.
Upgrades.

- Adding NPCs
Adding NPCs cost 25 Pigmy Eggs per NPC. You may only add already existing NPCs. You may not add a NPC that can not be found in Exodus. For example, you can add the Vote NPC. However, you can not add a custom NPC or Player NPC.
Note: FM Spawner does not count. Refer to the option below for that NPC.
You must supply your map ID and name of NPC you want.
(Must be an already existing MapleStory NPC, NOT PLAYERNPC!)
FM Spawner NPC
Adding the FM Spawner NPC costs 100 Pigmy Eggs. The NPC will be exactly the same NPC as the one in the Free Market. No benefits will be included.
You must supply your map ID.
Enabling Itemvac
Itemvac can only be used in FM 2 - 17, but for 100 Pigmy Eggs you can enable it in your House.
You still will need to have the items in game that let you use @itemvac in FMs.
Buying this does not give you @itemvac.

- Password Changes
A password change costs 100 Pigmy Eggs.
You must supply the old password, new password, and map ID.
Ownership Change
Changing the ownership costs 50 Pigmy Eggs. The current owner must pay for the change, but the new owner must pay for the next months rent & the password change if wanted.
You must supply the new owners IGN, and proof of their approval.
New Neighbour
Changing your neighbour and your a portal link, costs 20 Pigmy Eggs.
You must supply the old neighbour ID, and a new neighbour ID.
Neighbour Removal
Removing a neighbour costs 10 Pigmy Eggs.
You must supply the ID of the neighbour you are removing.
House Removal
House removal is free. You may remove a house by choice, or your house will be automatically removed if you fail to pay your rent on time.
You must supply your map ID.
Welcome Message Change
Changing a welcome message costs 5 Pigmy Eggs.
You must supply your map ID and the new welcome message.

If your application was accepted, please contact a staff member in game to
set up a password and to give the payment of purchase.
Please do note that setting up your house may take a few hours.
As staff, we reserve the right to deny an application.

The last or only bidder on the house wins the house.
The owner reserves the right to allow/disallow any player to enter.
One person per house. The IGN which purchased the house must pay rent.
Maximum 3 houses per IGN.
Bid intervals must be atleast 10 Platform Puppets.
Platform Puppets are the only currency accepted for houses.
