Angels & Demons

This is a server wide event, meaning it is ongoing and anyone can participate.

How does this event work?
During the starter quest upon making a new character, you will be faced with the option of choosing a side: Angels or Demons.
You will receive a medal, a hat, and a weapon that corresponds to the side you chose. There will also be a server message broadcasted that let's everyone know which side you chose. You will need your medal to participate in your side's events, so do not lose that medal as you cannot get it back.

Winning
As this is a server wide event, nobody would win individually. Instead, after the server wide event has ended, the team with the most points would win EP. This includes all members of the team.
The way winning and point accumulation goes is follows: Your team will attend a Side Based Event (explained below). The rules of the events are altered in Side Based Events. For instance, Tag. A GM will tag for a certain amount of time. The amount of players alive after the time is over is equal to the amount of points that side gets. Same goes for Terrorist, or NTI, or T/F, or RR, etc. The amount of players alive or still participating goes for the amount of points towards the team. After the event is over, the team with the most points win. During the event, the point log will be private to avoid cheating.

Side Based Events
In addition to regular, hourly events, staff members will occasionally host a side based event (known as SB Event). A Side Based event is an event for a certain side, in which only members of that side are permitted to attend. For example, a GM will host a SB Tag Event. If this event was for the Angels side, all Angels would have to use @joinangelevent to attend the event. The command would not work for Dark Side members.
Side Based events are always hosted back to back, and the same event is hosted for both sides. If a GM hosts one SB event and not the other immediately after, please report the GM.

Prizes
The winning team will receive prizes as follows:
MVP Player(most points collected) - 15 EP
2nd MVP(2nd most points collected) - 10 EP
3rd MVP(3rd most points collected) - 8 EP
All other members - 5 EP

The losing team will receive prizes as follows:
MVP Player(most points collected) - 5 EP
All other members - NONE


Rules & Regulations
- 1 side per IP. If found having characters on more than one IP, you may be banned from the event.
- Dropping your medal will result in you not being able to participate in the event. You must have your side's medal to participate.
- When receiving rewards for the winning side, your IP will be tracked. If trying to receive EP more than once on the same IP, you may be banned from the server.
- All in-game Rules & Regulations still apply towards events.
- We ask you to remain patient as this is a first time event and bugs may be present.
